When struggling singer-songwriter Jack Malik is hit by a bus just as a freak glitch plunges the world momentarily into darkness, he is catapulted into a parallel dimension in which the Beatles never existed.

As seemingly the only person in the world who remembers them, Malik becomes an overnight sensation by passing their music off as his own. But success is not all it’s made out to be, and he realises, belatedly, that all really needed was the love of the girl who believed in him all along.

We’re pleased to be screening short film LP, directed by Nikita Kardakov & Anton Chebotov, before the main feature. Find out more about our Shorts In The South initiative here.
