In the midst of her own personal marriage crisis, a judge must debate the ethics of whether or not she should rule to force a teenage Jehovah’s Witness into undergoing a life-saving blood transfusion. An outcome of either life or death falling on her shoulders, the pressure puts a strain on the her failing marriage which she’s struggling to keep together.
Starring Emma Thompson and Stanley Tucci, this drama takes a look at the ethics of deciding on faith and humanity.
