This June we launch our brand new Pay As You Feel screenings, a strand of film chosen for the community, by the community.
After weeks of voting we’re pleased to announce that our winning film is Grasp the Nettle by Dean Puckett.
Grasp the Nettle is a documentary about the exploits of a ragtag band of activists in London as they struggle against corporations, government and police in their efforts to create alternative communities outside the framework of consumer society.
There is no fixed price for this event. Simply pay what you think it's worth, either online or on the door.
This event is sponsored by Brave Foods, who will be supplying roasted pea snacks for each audience member.
To take part in deciding the future of this strand, from helping pick films to selecting themes and issues you’d like these events to address, and to find out more about the strand and future events and meet-ups, then join our dedicated Facebook Group.
