Come and explore a world of cinema at South Norwood’s original family film club. We seek out unique and captivating stories from across the globe and bring them to life with fun creative workshops for the whole family. A welcoming space for curious minds and big imaginations, where children of all ages can discover the magic of the big screen and embark on their own film journeys.
Travel back to the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth! Early Man tells the story of how plucky caveman Dug, along with sidekick Hognob, unites his tribe against the mighty Bronze Age in a battle to beat them at their own game.
Early Man unleashes an unforgettable cast of hilarious new characters and marks Nick Park’s first feature film since Academy Award™ winning Wallace And Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit.
Before the film, Lightbox Cinema will be leading a special claymation workshop on how to make and animate a prehistoric character out of plasticine. Make your own and then stay after the main feature to see your masterpiece on the big screen!
Lightbox Cinema is a London-based initiative set up to teach children about cinema heritage. Through creative and interactive workshops children get to learn about cinematic treasures and different filmmaking techniques.
