Family Film Club: Dumbo + Circus Skills Workshop

  • Harris Academy South Norwood 2 Cumberlow Avenue London SE25 6AE (map)

Dir. Tim Burton • 2019 • UK • Fantasy • 112 mins • Cert PG

Learn some incredible circus skills and enchant the whole family with this lovingly re-imagined tale of an awkward little elephant with a surprisingly big talent.

In 1919, circus star Holt Farrier returns from the War a broken man. Given work as a carer for a neglected young elephant, he quickly discovers Dumbo’s remarkable ability to fly. But all is not well: when cruel entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) recognises Dumbo’s potential, Holt and his children begin to uncover the dark secrets that lurk beneath Dreamland’s shiny exterior.

From the magical mind of Tim Burton, Dumbo features an all-star cast and hyper-realistic CGI animals.
