UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO LOW TICKET NUMBERS BLINDSPOTTING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Carlos López Estrada directs his first full feature length film and brings us a pulse pumping and wildly entertaining story of gentrification in modern-day America.
Collin only has three days until the end of his probation, but between witnessing a police shooting and the influence of his childhood friend Miles, he’s hanging on by a thread. Tensions rise as conflict between the two friends reaches breaking point, and the question of race and privilege make this an unmissable and timely film.
Starring and co-written by real-life childhood friends Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal, Blindspotting is a bold take on the intersections of race and class set against the rapidly gentrifying backdrop of Oakland.
We're pleased to be screening short film 'Target' by Tony Mitsinga before the main feature.
