Cinema Rewind is a strand designed to bring cult and classic cinema to South Norwood. Whether it's that cult favourite you've seen 100 times or an obscure classic you've never got round to, Cinema Rewind brings the best of the bunch to the big screen for you. The party starts every first Friday of the month!

We launch Cinema Rewind with Ridley Scott’s cinematic masterpiece, Alien.

When a mysterious signal from an alien planet reaches a deep space cargo ship, the crew decide to investigate. What they discover is more terrifying than anything known to humankind.

One of the most successful and loved films in the history of cinema, and starring Sigourney Weaver in a career launching role as warrant officer Ripley, Alien is the horror/sci-fi that shook the world with its iconic chest bursting scenes, and we’re excited to be presenting it on the big screen on its 40th anniversary.

We're pleased to be welcoming David Dent, local film and media writer and co-ordinator of the West Norwood Free Film Festival, who will be introducing the film. You can follow David's writing here.
