Hold up! Why are you changing your membership scheme?

We are a Community Interest Company with very little public funding. Our goal is to become completely sustainable, which we believe to be more important than ever, as funding to the arts is in increasingly limited supply. We're keen to strike the right balance between value for members (whether you're an avid or occasional visitor) and a model that supports a sustainable future for Screen25.

Our new subscription based membership model will provide us with a stable income, enabling us to continue running a diverse and relevant programme without the pressure of minimum audience numbers, which we currently have to hit in order to keep our heads above water. We will be able to take more risks when it comes to programming, and with enough members on the new scheme we hope be able to reduce our ticket prices in the long-term, broadening access to cinema for the wider community.

Our current membership model will continue until the end of February 2019, during which time you can carry on redeeming unused freebies and discounted tickets (we’ve had to increase the price of members’ tickets by 50p, to help us cover our overheads).

If, on the other hand, you love the sound of our new monthly subscription model and would like to start taking advantage as soon as possible, you can choose to renew your membership today by logging into MemberMojo (no password required).

No thanks, I’m seeing out my current membership. How can I claim my discount on tickets?

Simple! Just click the 'Enter Voucher Code' button at the top of our online box office, or any event page, and enter your membership number into the box. Then click 'Book' on your selected event and the discounted ticket option will be available to you.

You will have been assigned a membership number on joining, but if you need a reminder feel free to drop us a line.

How can I use my remaining free tickets?

You will have been given a special code with your membership confirmation. Just enter this into the 'Enter Voucher Code' button as above and select the free ticket option at checkout.

My partner / friend / relative is also a member and we would like to book for the same film. How can we do this?

If are a Member Plus you will be able to select up to two tickets at members' price for your chosen film. If you both have separately standard memberships then you will need to book separately, as our box office will only take one membership number at any one time.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

Yes! Just bring your membership card and you will be able to buy on the door using cash or card. You can also use redeem your free tickets in this way.

Help! I have lost my membership number / card. What should I do?

No need to panic. Just contact us and we will email you through a reminder of your membership number, and issue you with a new card on your next visit.

Does my membership entitle me to any other discounts in the local area?

Yes! We have teamed up with some fantastic local businesses across South Norwood to offer discounts to Screen25 members, so do take advantage. You can see an up-to-date of participating partners here.

So, what do I get for my £15 a month?

Welcome aboard! Members on our new unlimited scheme are entitled to the following benefits:

  • Unlimited access to our regular programme, plus Family Film Club and Bring Along Baby events

  • Your own personalised plastic membership card

  • 10% discount in our cafe-bar

  • Two £5 guest tickets per film

  • Discounts on tickets to special events

  • Free goody bag, with Screen25 tote bag, pin badge and two DVDs or Blu-rays

  • Discounts in local shops and cafes on our partner incentive scheme

How do I get my membership card?

This will be posted to the address you provided when you signed up, and should be with you within 10 working days. If you wish to use your membership in the meantime, you can show us a copy of your confirmation email instead. You will be able to use your membership number to reserve tickets online straight away.

How do I get my free tickets?

You can book tickets online or on the door:

  • On the door - simply show your card to our box office staff on arrival

  • Online - visit thelittleboxoffice.com/screen25 and enter your membership number as a "voucher code"

Can I share my membership card with my friends?

No. Your membership is non-transferable and can only be used by the named card holder.

How long does my membership last?

Your membership lasts for as long as you keep up your direct debit payments. Payment is taken on a monthly basis through Go Cardless, on the same day of the month as the date you join.

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership any time, by stopping your direct debit payments either through Go Cardless or through your bank. Your membership will continue for one month after your last payment.

How do I get my free goody bag?

Just show us your membership card or confirmation email on your next visit to Screen25 and we’ll get it ready for you!

Am I guaranteed a seat at your screenings?

Although there are usually tickets on the door, entry for members is not guaranteed, so online booking is advised in case of sell-outs.
