Hello, we are Screen25 - a weekly independent cinema in South Norwood. We love screening films that bring people together and our programming is very diverse, with a focus on arthouse, foreign language, documentary and comedy. We strive to create cinema-going experiences that both enrich and entertain, as well as spark conversation about important issues.

We are a Community Interest Company which means that all of our profits must be reinvested into the cinema, or the wider community. We are supported by one full-time director working on minimum wage and about 30 volunteers who are passionate about film and giving back to their community.

We are almost entirely self-funded, which means we rely on income from ticket sales, memberships and refreshments to cover our running costs, and it is very often a struggle for us to make ends meet.

You can help us to continue our work by making a donation in one of the following ways:

  • Sponsor a volunteer (£10) - Cover the cost of one of our volunteers' expenses for a day and get high-fives from the team on your next visit!
  • Pay-it-forward (£20) - We'll donate two tickets in your name, to someone on low (or no) income. We'll do this via credible organisations such as the Citizen's Advice Bureau and Evolve Housing. Help us to achieve our mission to make cinema accessible for everyone!
  • Sponsor a workshop (£50) - Cover the cost of one of our Family Film Club workshops. In return we will offer you discounted tickets, credit you in the marketing copy and give you a special mention on the day.
  • Sponsor a screening (£100) - Cover the cost of a film license for one of our upcoming screenings (you choose!). In return we will give you two free tickets to the event, credit you in the marketing copy and give you a special mention on the night.

If you can only make a small contribution we also welcome donations of £5 in exchange for a warm positive feeling, or you can add £2 to your next online ticket purchase. It all adds up!
